Adult Learn to Row
Row Start is an introductory course offering adults, of any age, a comprehensive experience of rowing on the River Clyde. Participants are introduced to the basics of the sport in a fun and engaging atmosphere.
Rowers are introduced to the basics of the British Rowing technique, some terminology, how to handle equipment and how to be safe around water. The program comprises 2 sessions per week over 3 weeks: 3 indoor rowing sessions and 3 water sessions.
At the end of the program, participants can go on to continue developing their skills with our regular novice rowing crew and, when appropriate, move into our senior squads or recreational squad.
If you have any questions about our Row Start program, or would like to sign up, please contact our Community coach (cldcoach@clydesdalearc.org.uk) or Captain (captain@clydesdalearc.org.uk).
